POPULARIZATION OF IMPROVED HEARTBUILDINGS
To reduce the use of wood for energy, the NGO PADES has developed and implemented improved wood and charcoal stoves called PADES stoves, which are very energy-efficient. These stoves are being popularized with the support of technical and financial partners.
PROMOTION OF ACCESS TO AND USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGIES
To combat climate change, it is important to turn to renewable energy, which will significantly reduce the depletion of non-renewable resources and greenhouse gas emissions. This is why PADES has invested in promoting biogas and solar energy. This is done through awareness-raising and training stakeholders on the construction and maintenance of structures.
