SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION
Community organization being the lever of grassroots development, the NGO raises awareness on the importance of peasant organizations and supports the establishment of economic interest groups, cooperatives, etc. It also sets up and trains development committees (CDQ, CVD, CCD, etc.) on their roles and responsibilities to enable them to easily assume their position.
To contribute to city management, promote good neighborliness, respect for public property, and cultivate patriotism, it is committed to educating the population in its coverage area about citizenship. This is done through group awareness sessions, sketches, and by drawing on real and current cases.
SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS
Community organizations are first made aware of the importance of a guiding document (Local Development Plan) for the development of their locality. Then, at their request, training sessions are organized to equip them with the steps and process for developing this important document, which serves as a compass for the community.
